Jess Álamo

Jess Álamo is a type designer, branding specialist, educator, and typography enthusiast.

Her professional experience in type design includes custom projects for Carlos V. She is the creator of Andreína Script, a typeface designed for Letra Muerta Inc., based in New York. She also co-created Santa Clara Script and Mundet Sans for Coca-Cola Mexico, and is the designer of the retail typeface families Piccola and Ábaca.

She has built a distinguished career in graphic design, working with leading Mexican companies such as Banamex, Kimberly-Clark, and Henkel, as well as international agencies including Troving in New York.

For more than fifteen years, she has taught, she is also a workshop instructor and frequent speaker at academic and professional typography events, where she shares her perspective on typography as an essential discipline for visual communication and contemporary design.
